Candy: Bartons Monopoly Creamy Milk Chocolate

This is just a quick review of an impulse buy at the checkout line.

Bartons Candy doesn't ring any bells for me, so I don't believe I have ever had any of their products before. I am also not one to snack on a simple chocolate bar, but I have to admit that the main reason for buying this was the Monopoly tie-in.

Win $5000 instantly? Sure!

So, long story short, I didn't win anything.

(This is the top left picture in "Guess What I Tried!"1)

Pros:
Decent Chocolate.
Chance to win prizes.

Cons:
Nothing memorable about the product at all.

Verdict:
Buy it to try to win something, not for the chocolate.

i would've never guessed they'd make a monopoly candy bar..i wish they would've made them like...smaller sized and the properties...kind of like:

"oh, i'm eating peanuty park place"
"i'm eating marshmallowy marvin gardens"
"cool."
"can i try some of the park place? what else is in it? caramel?"

1. Because of your insistence upon having advertisements, it takes 4 minutes to load your blog.

2. I forgive you because I just happen to like reviews of obscure drinks and candles.

I'll try that! said...

Thanks jim, I will make the less of the older posts show on the main page. This should help you with the loading time.

I also try to limit the ads, but certain products have nothing to choose from, therefore they have 2 ads, and then something like this has thousands of products. So I just try to put up what looks interesting, or matches the review the closest.

Let me know if the blog still takes a long time to load, and I will limit it even more.

Thank you for your consideration. The consideration of not only my cavil suggestion but in the manner in which you have addressed it.

Question...Where did you buy the bar, and how much was it? I cannot find it anywhere!!

Hi Kunbi thanks for the question. I got mine at a local (PA) grocery store call Weis/Mr Z's. They were in their own display up in the front of the store.

Good luck and thanks for stopping by!

I found Duvalin and some great Mexican candies at SalsaNachos! Fortunately, they ship out of USA, so you can get some good deals.
